Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

USE3D, part of Volo Group, is the controller of personal data collected through our digital channels and in the processing of 3D printing orders. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your information, in compliance with Brazil's General Data Protection Law (Law No. 13.709/2018 — LGPD).

2. Data Collected

We collect the following types of personal data:

  • Identification data: full name, CPF/CNPJ (Brazilian tax IDs), email, and phone.
  • Shipping data: full address, postal code, city, state.
  • Project files: 3D files (STL, OBJ, STEP, etc.) submitted for quoting or production.
  • Payment data: processed directly by the payment gateway; we do not store card data on our servers.
  • Browsing data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time spent, collected via cookies.

3. Purpose of Processing

We use your data to:

  • Process orders, generate quotes, and manage deliveries.
  • Communicate with you about your order status.
  • Send marketing communications, with your consent.
  • Improve our services and the site experience.
  • Comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

4. Legal Basis

USE3D's processing of personal data is based on the following legal bases under Article 7 of the LGPD:

  • Performance of a contract — to process orders and carry out deliveries (Art. 7, V).
  • Consent — to send marketing communications (Art. 7, I).
  • Legitimate interest — to improve services and prevent fraud (Art. 7, IX).
  • Compliance with legal obligation — to meet tax and regulatory requirements (Art. 7, II).

5. Data Sharing

We share your data only when necessary, with the following categories of recipients:

  • Carriers: shipping data needed to deliver orders.
  • Payment gateways: data required for financial processing.
  • Analytics tools: anonymized or pseudonymized data for usage analysis.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for commercial purposes.

6. Data Retention

Order- and transaction-related data is retained for 5 (five) years for tax and legal purposes. Account data is retained until the data subject requests deletion. Marketing data is retained until consent is revoked.

7. Data Subject Rights

Under Article 18 of the LGPD, you have the right to:

  • Confirm whether your data is being processed.
  • Access your personal data.
  • Correct incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated data.
  • Request anonymization, blocking, or deletion of unnecessary data.
  • Request portability of your data.
  • Revoke consent at any time.

8. Cookies

We use the following types of cookies:

  • Essential: required for the site's basic functioning.
  • Functional: store user preferences.
  • Analytics: collect usage data to improve the service.

We adopt appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), role-based access control, and access monitoring. Despite our efforts, no system is 100% secure; in the event of an incident, we will notify affected data subjects as required by the LGPD.
